We gladly accept free returns and exchanges in the United States at this time. We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. When you feel good about your purchase, you look good wearing it! We have a 30-day return and exchange policy, which means you have 30 days from the time you place your order to return (post mark) your item in the mail.
Your item(s) must be in the same condition that you received them, unworn, unwashed or unused, with tags intact, non-perfumed, non-marked by makeup, with any applicable hygiene stickers in tact and in the original packaging. No exceptions.
Exchange Policy:
We offer a one-time FREE EXCHANGE with every website order for style and size differences, or for store credit. Simply reach out to us at customerservice@vilanapparel.com to start your exchange process. We will provide you with a free return shipping label to send us back your purchase.
Due to the small nature of our business, our inventory levels can change quickly. Therefore, we cannot guarantee the exact size/design will be available upon receiving your exchanged item.
Please note exchanges are given for the cost of the returned product. Exchanges do not include the initial shipping fee.

Custom and personalized orders are not eligible for return and/or refund. Gift cards are not available for return.

Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Refunds:
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the return item was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded the amount of the product to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some extra time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. Please refer to your payment method policy for receiving money back.

Damages and Defects:
We have a 5 day damage and defect policy. All items are inspected before leaving our warehouse, however, if you receive an item you believe is defective, please contact us immediately (within 5 days of receiving the item) so that we may resolve the issue and make it right. Normal wear and tear is not considered nor constituted as a defect. Certain elements will not be considered a defect, nor will sweat or makeup marks on an item. Excessive use will not be considered normal wear. We reserve the right to determine what is considered to be a defect based on the product. If the damages are from the shipping carrier, please understand that our products are packaged appropriately and we are not responsible for damages occurred when shipping. However, we will do our best to make it right.
Exceptions / Non-returnable items:
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like final sale items, or items where tags or hygiene stickers have been removed. We will not accept any return bathing suit/swimwear item where the hygiene sticker has been removed. Any item that we can not place back on our shelves for purchase due to wear or customer damage will not be eligible for return. Any customized or personalized orders are not eligible for return and/or refund. Gift cards are not eligible for return. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Additional Return/Exchange Information:
You’ll need the online order number or receipt or original proof of purchase when initiating a return or exchange. If you purchased your order through a 3rd party such as a retail business, you will need to work with them on returns/exchanges. We reserve the right to decline a return if no receipt is provided and item(s) are not in their original condition. Returned items will be evaluated and inspected for signs of use prior to issuing any credits. We reserve the right to determine eligibility of return. Headwear/hats returned in poly mailers or flimsy mailers will not be accepted and a refund will not be issued. Headwear/hats must be returned in a constructed/structured box. If items are received damaged or marked due to shipping or improper packaging, the items will not be eligible for return/refund.
Any orders returned to us due to an incorrect shipping address will be subject to a $10 fee to cover the cost of re-shipping the order. We will notify the customer if we receive a package due to incorrect shipping address. In order to reprocess the order for shipment, the customer will receive an invoice via email for the reprocessing fee. Once the fee is paid, the order will be re-shipped to the updated address. Once an item leaves our warehouse, a correction to an address can not be made.
Should an exchanged/returned product be received by us that is not considered approved for exchange/return, we will require shipping to be paid by the customer in order to have your item shipped back. We are not responsible for shipping charges. An invoice for $10 will be sent to the customer to process return shipping. Once the invoice is paid in full, we will re-send the initial returned/exchanged item back to the customer.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on gift cards.
